The INDIEana Handicraft Exchange and Naptown Roller Girl Necklaces!

Next weekend I'll be a vendor at the INDIEana Handicraft Exchange! This is an AWESOME show and I hope to see you there! I'm busy building up lots of inventory. Here is the info:

I was also commissioned to make some necklaces for the Naptown Roller Girls using their logo! Yes, I love glitter, pink, and girlie things but I also have a secret LOVE for SKULLS! It was so fun to see so many in one spot. You can purchase these necklaces at the INDIEana Handicraft Exchange at the Naptown Roller Girls booth. And if you've not been to a roller girl bout yet, you are totally missing out!

I'm Still Here and Some NEW Goodies!

I know I've been quiet, but I've been busy with art/craft fairs. I booked myself for 4 in a row, 4 weekends in a row! 2 down, 2 to go!
I did, however list a few new German Dresden goodies in the Shop.
I really love these new, larger size crowns. The black crowns would be excellent for Halloween!

Baby's New Name and a Thank You!

Today is the day I reveal the naming contest winner and baby gets her new name! She wanted to put on her fancy dress for the occasion. I tried to tell her it was a bit over the top, and the purse and parasol were not necessary, but she insisted. She will go back into her angel outfit after the day is done.
Thank you to all for submitting names! It was so hard to pick. But one name stood out to me and my little ANNIE! Annie was fitting since she was like a little "orphan Annie" until I picked her up. Sweet, simple, and meaningful! I hope you like it. So Jennifer is the winner. I'll be emailing you shortly to claim your prize!
Speaking of naming contests, I was one of the lucky winners to name Cassandra's mannequin! I picked a "kit" as my prize and just look at all the GORGEOUS goodies I received! THANK YOU Cassandra, this was more than I could have imagined. And she included all of my favorite colors - pink, aqua, cream, silver, and GLITTER! I'm so lucky! THANK YOU so much!
I was also busy this weekend as a vendor at another craft fair! The weather was INCREDIBLE so I was one happy crafter. Here is my set-up. Sorry about the not so great picture, it was taken with my old camera as it's much more portable.

Baby's New Look, Still Looking For a New Name!

Okay, so I was going to wait to post this and reveal her new look with her new name, but many people have been entering boy names. Which is fine, and the sweet doll may in fact be a boy, BUT I had different plans. lol! She is definitely a girl now! I worked on her today and I'm very happy with the outcome!

The sweet gal needed some clothes....

So I bought this dress from a lovely seller on Ebay for just $2! It was a bit too short (and plain), so I altered it.

Keep in mind, I'm not a sewer, but I added some lace at the bottom to lengthen it, some embroidery, a sweet vintage flower patch, and finally pinned on some vintage Millinery flowers. The Tim Holtz Mini Pins worked GREAT for this! I had also bleached the dress prior to sewing to fade the color.

She still needed some thing, so I attached a pair of feather angel wings with a simple pearl straight pin!

I'm still looking for a name for her, and there is still time to enter the contest. You can leave your name here or on the "Contest" post. I'll be reading them all! Also, feel free to re-enter if you submitted a boy name. There's no going back now :).

This contest is now CLOSED! Thank you to all who entered!

New INCHIE Collage Sheets 1" Squares

I just finished some Inchie 1" Square collage sheets in two of my favorite subjects - Hello Dollie and Marie Antoinette! You can get them with or without Inked Edges, digital or paper format.
Each image is a 1 inch square. Perfect for inchies, soldered charms, or use with the 1 inch memory frames and glass! Keep in mind, you can also punch out a nice 1 inch circle with these images for bottle cap art and more!
