4th Annual Gothic Tombstone ART SWAP + More‏

Happy weekend everyone! We have lots of great goodies in the shop this week, including the new 2015 Tombstone set! So you know what that means. Art Swap! Yeah! The Tombstone Swap is always my favorite, so I couldn't wait to jump right in!
You can check it out HERE.

Halloween Art Time!

I loved making my Tombstones! It's never too early for Halloween in my opinion. And I already knew what I wanted to do! When I released the new designs last week, I immediately knew I wanted to use the Mischievous Cats! Along with some fun accessories.

Supplies Used Tombstone Bases IV, Mischievous Cat Cut-Outs, Glasses Cut-Outs, Mustache Cut-Outs, Little Devil Cut-Outs, Witch Hat Cut-Outs, Mask Cut-Outs, Ledger Paper Collage Sheet CV56 (sticker paper), Diamond II Stencil, Fancy Brass Bat Charms, Fancy Brass Owl Charms, Rustic Lodge Alcohol Ink, Black Archival Ink, Sharpie Paint Marker White  and Black, Micron Pens, E6000, Matte Glue N Seal

I started by covering my tombstones with Collage Sheet CV56 in sticker paper. One of my favorite sheets with so many uses!

Next I stenciled on some diamonds using gold spray paint.

I painted my kitties accessories with orange acrylic paint.

To create some dramatic edges, I lined them with my black sharpie.

I added color to my brass bats with alcohol ink and black archival ink. Amazing what a little patina can do. I love how they turned out. I assembled all my bits and then added a few finishing details with my markers and pens!

I had a blast making my tombstones for the swap and I can't wait to see yours!
